Sette Ponti's 'Super Tuscan' wine. Polised and complex, showing off aromas of red and black cherries, cocoa, mocha and a hint of game. This was raised for 18 months in small French barriques, with the oak marrying up with the fruit beautifully. A powerful wine.

There is a tension to this wine. After all, the vineyard is a stone's throw from Masseto and Sassicaia's first vineyard plot.
